At the Musee Jacquemart-Andre in Paris, December 1978 to April 1979. The image created by Marc Chagall depicts a self portrait of Chagall as the artist by his easel with a goat figure standing next to him. The lithograph image, engraved by Charles Sorlier under the direction of Marc Chagall, measures 17 3/4 x 13 1/4 inches (45 x 33.5 cm). The full sheet size of the poster measures 29 x 21 1/4 inches (86 x 56 cm).
The poster was published by the Institut de France, Paris and was printed on the lithographic presses of Mourlot Freres in Paris. The edge of the sheet at the top right corner has a crease, otherwise the poster is in very good condition, crisp bright colors with no evidence of any damage to the image.
