1970 Artist: Cohen Size (in): 31.5" x 23.5" Size (cm): 80 x 59.5 Condition: B- Linen backed: No This delightful poster was issued by the French government to help promote export of the country's splendid cheeses. Sixty different French cheeses are arranged to form a map of France with each of the cheeses numbered and identified by name.

The famous quote by Charles de Gaulle comes to mind. How can anyone govern a nation that has two hundred and forty-six different kinds of cheese? This vintage original poster isn't dated but was likely issued in the early to mid 1970s. A photo credit to "Cohen" is printed in the lower right hand corner.

This poster has a short tear without loss of about two inches on the top edge and pinholes on the corners. The poster displays nicely and overall condition is very good. This item is in the category "Art\Art Posters". The seller is "goldenageposters" and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped worldwide.
