Antique French lantern circa 1900 vintage old unique

A very important and imposing wood and iron lantern. Originally for use externally but now being used as a table lamp. There are signs of old paint work to the iron frame and wooden top of this unique lantern. There are clips that would of held glass panels in place. The lamp holder and brass cap have been made to sit inside the frame they do not fit onto the lantern. The lamp holder has a switch the switch clicks over but l do not know if it works. You could fit glass panels? The old original wires will be removed for safety. This item is exactly as we found it.
